Valuations

Help to Buy Valuation: RICS Red Book valuations for Help to Buy Equity repayment/loan redemption for Homes England.

Shared Ownership Valuation RICS Red Book valuations for shared ownership purposes, when an owner wants to sell or purchase additional equity (often called staircasing), in accordance with any requirements of the Housing Association or scheme provider.

Private Valuation:  RICS Red Book valuations to determine an accurate impartial market value.

Why Have a Valuation?

A RICS Red Book valuation is required for Help to Buy/Shared Ownership purposes when selling, or purchasing additional equity, or staircasing.

If you are a cash purchaser a private valuation will help determine whether the agreed purchase price reflects the market value of the subject property.

It should be noted a RICS Red Book valuation by a Chartered Surveyor is different to a market/guide price provided by an estate agent.  Red Book valuations are based on the RICS Professional Standards, which contain the mandatory practices for Chartered Surveyors undertaking valuation services and include the International Valuation Standards.

Our RICS Red Book valuations comprise an internal and external inspection of the subject property, an in depth analysis of comparable evidence and local market information, a professional report, and impartial valuation.
